The Vigilante Group of Nigeria ,Ado/Odo–Ota Command has described the spot where the Action Congress gubernatorial candidate, Dipo Dina was killed as a potential black spot. At a crowded press briefing in Ota, Ogun state, the VGN sector commander, Alhaji Adeyemi Adetoro said that his association has always put the police on their toes with recourse to how potentially dangerous the spot is to those plying the route to no avail. He said that robbery attacks on innocent individuals have become a recurring decimal of sorrow and tragedy. Adetoro told the press that one could not out rightly ruled out the possibility of a robbery attack on the slain politician, but swiftly added that the murder of Otunba Dina and what has been happening in Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area in general called for action. Adetoro said that the axis where the frontline politician was killed is the gateway for smugglers and other dangerous elements in the society. While calling, on the Inspector General of Police, Ogbonna Onovo to increase the presence of his men there, he added that the industries that litter the whole Otta from the main Otta market towards Ifo and from the OPIC Industrial Estate down towards Atan attract the attention and interest of armed robbers for both the products of the industries, the distributors and buyers alike.
